We have a general rule of no side tackles. It is not permitted within 3 feet of a player and will be punished by a yellow card if no contact. RED if contact is made.

In the event of a conflict, the home team must switch to their alternate jerseys. Mercy rule in effect: if a team reaches a 7 goal differential, the game is called and scored as such unless the teams mutually decide otherwise. Losing team has the opportunity to continue in a friendly if they so wish. Players must be 55 within the current year. Keepers can be over 50 but must remain in net.

Rosters and waivers are due each year by April 1 to league contact. Players must be signed by Aug 1 and have played 3 games in order to be eligible for playoffs. All players are required to produce proper identification upon request.

For league cancellations due to air quality or other natural severe elements the time frame of noon on game day will occur to allow for proper cancellation of fields, referees, and notice to travelling participants and teams.The president will direct the field scheduler, referee/linesman scheduler, and team representative of any decisions made on game day.Vernon is in the North Okanagan district and all others are in the Central Okanagan district for air quality. Air quality reaching 7 or above is a cancellation.

We want to avoid forfeits -teams cancelling matches will be charged for field and referee/linesmen fees and a fine to the league total to be 200.00 .This will require participation from all team representatives to ensure proper communication. The League will try to reschedule on their accord.
Cancellation or reschedule of game more than 24 hours before kick off - no compensation for Referees
Cancellation or reschedule 6 hours - 24 hours before game, 50% of fees paid. If less than 3 officials scheduled, they are paid 50% of the fee for their position only.
Cancellation or reschedule less than 6 hours before game time - full payment of fees. If less than 3 officials scheduled, they are paid the fee for their position only.
